We have some very special evenings lined up for you in 2010. Each show is priced individually, based upon the many & various costs the club now has to meet.

Our 2010 programme has been published and will be available at the Xmas show on 12th December starring THE THRILLBILLIES with DONNA WYLDE and Johnny B. Disco .Tickets costing £8.50(£5 for kids) are available from Ray on 0121 459 2401.

Club favourites TEXAS GUN have announced that they are to retire from touring the clubs in
January 2010 although they will continue to present their theatre, hotel, festival and cruise events.
We wish them well for the future.

Membership for 2010 opens in January when forms for joining, or renewing, will be available.
Cost is £5 for a couple or £3 for singles.

The members’ cash draw prize is currently at £30 and all members are automatically
entered into this free monthly draw but you do have to be at the club when the draw is made
to be in with a chance of winning.

The monthly raffle is popular and we appreciate everyone’s support.
Choosing varied raffle prizes does become difficult after a while.
Does anyone have any suggestions to add more variety to our list?

Tickets are now on sale for our 36th Anniversary show on Saturday 13th February which stars
AMERICAN ROUTES (trio) and BOB KEELEY (ex Vegas) with Bootscooters Disco.
This will be a great show and early booking is advised. Tickets cost £8.50(kids £5)

The Kidney Kids Appeal has so far raised 1 million pounds + of which over £4,000
was raised by Johnny B-well done. He is continuing his Line Dance Socials at
Kings Heath Cricket Club with various charities benefiting .
It is likely that his next event will be in January 2010.

Janet Court recently raised £457 for Yardley Grange Trust at a Line Dance Social
and she will be resuming her fund raising for Guide Dogs in the New Year.

Also raising money for charity are Rick & Ruth Wise.
Several local charities will benefit from dances to be held on the
first Wednesday of each month at Moseley Cricket Club, Shirley, throughout 2010.

Winners at the British Country Music Awards were Travis Logan (Male),
Katie Rhodes (female), Spur (Duo), Gary Perkins & The Breeze (Group),
Tim McKay (Entertainer) Andy Mottram of the Breeze (Musician) and Kay D (Rising Star).
Well done to them all. Tim McKay is with us in January 2011

We are now considering acts for 2012 so if you favour certain special performer(s) then let us know asap!

UP COUNTRY magazines are on sale at each club night priced £3 each.
It is a well produced, professional British magazine with loads of interesting items
for Country Music/line dance fans including many new dance scripts.
However due to the financial situation less mags have been sold recently which forces
us to reduce our order. If you want a copy regularly please let us know.
